Dear Parents,
Please join the Chaminade Counseling Team for the final Parent College Connection of the school year. It will be held on Thursday, May 11, from 8:30-9:30 am in the Chaminade Library. A panel of current seniors will be our special guests to share their high school experiences; outside involvement such as jobs, internships, and summer programs; and college decisions.
Please join us for an interesting and informative morning. Plan to arrive before 8:15 am to avoid the car line. The guard at the gate will direct you to parking. Coffee and breakfast treats will be served!

COLLEGE DECISION DAY IS HERE!
FOLLOW THESE EASY STEPS SO THAT COUNSELORS KNOW YOUR PLANS.
1. Your Survey! Complete your “Graduation Survey” in Naviance starting Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
- Click HERE to log in to Naviance.
- Go to “About Me”. Find the survey located under “Surveys from your School.” PLEASE COMPLETE BY FRIDAY, MAY 12th!
2. Answer the big question: “Where are you going?” If are planning to attend a community college, indicate that on the survey. Wear your college sweatshirt or tee shirt with jeans on Monday, May 1, 2023, to celebrate College Decision Day.
3. Get on the map! Come to the Counseling office and get your pin to place on the HUGE college map in the hallway.
4. Snap your photo! Get your photo opportunity in front of the map.
We are excited for each of your individual journeys ahead and proud of each of you!!

- CSF Peer Tutoring
Members of the Chaminade Chapter of CSF (California Scholarship Federation) will be available for peer tutoring during every X-Block. Tutoring takes place in the high school library from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. No appointment is needed. This is a great opportunity for students to get some extra help with their classes. Please email Mrs. Hunter at jhunter@chaminade.org if you have any questions.

- We are still selling our green #BREAKTHESTIGMA shirts to keep the conversation about mental health and wellness going. As a reminder, students in all grade levels have permission to wear their green shirts with uniform bottoms every Wednesday. If you don’t have your green shirt yet, you may still order yours HERE for just $12.
