Purple Comet! Math Meet is a free, annual, international, online, team, mathematics competition designed for middle and high school students that has been held every year since 2003. Teams of from one to six students compete by submitting solutions to a list of mathematics problems. It runs April 22nd through May 1st. The problems range in difficulty from somewhat easy to extremely challenging. In 2022 over 12,000 students competed on over 3998 teams from 62 countries. If you would like to find out more information, visit https://www.purplecomet.org. If you are an individual or have a team ready to participate, see Mrs. Haro-Fausto in Room 407 or email at lharo-fausto@chaminade.org to register. You can participate in this contest during X-Block on Monday, April 28th or after school on Wednesday, April 30th.

Senior Class Gift
Attention, class of 2025! Graduation is getting closer each passing day, and your student council and senior gift committee are kicking off the senior class gift campaign this week.  Get involved, and don’t be left out of the fun. We ask each senior to donate $25 over the next two weeks.  When you donate, you will get an invitation to the 100 Days to Graduation party, where you will celebrate with your class, have lunch, and paint a canvas for the BHC.  The 100 Days to Graduation party will take place during the second lunch on Thursday, February 20. This is your chance to leave your legacy and help our class leave one, too.  The first collection day will be Thursday, February 6, at break outside the Activities Office.  Everyone who donates on Thursday will get a donut and a surprise gift as our way of saying thank you.  If you give online before Thursday, we will have your name on a list for the free donut.  Also, check your email for additional information and a link to give. Let’s get everyone in our class to participate!  We can do this 2025!!
