THE OFFICE OF
“Mary’s apostolic mission is to form all persons into the most perfect conformity with the God-Man Christ, her Son.”
-Blessed William Joseph Chaminade
Prayer is about communicating with God. It allows us to offer up our needs and even those moments of celebration to our God who loves us so much and desires nothing more than to fill us with his presence and grace.
Fr. Chaminade taught his small-faith communities to pray in order to transform the people whom they were serving during their time. He also taught them to draw inspiration from Mary who courageously stood by her Son, Jesus Christ, from the moment of his birth to his death on the cross. She is a model of courage, faith, and love that implores her children to offer up anything that the heart desires to say to her Son.
Through the Marianist Prayers, the hope is that we may respond to the needs of others while praying for our own needs. Therefore, the following prayers are resources that can be used either in a classroom, meeting, or for personal growth.
May God continue the good work that he has begun in you!
