I have worked at Chaminade since 2004, first as a College Counselor, then as the School Therapist and teacher, and now as the Director of the Counseling Ofiice. I have an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with a Marriage and Family Therapy emphasis from Mount Saint Mary’s College. I worked in another private high school for eight years, five of those in the Counseling Office doing academic, college, and personal counseling. I have also worked at the Santa Monica-UCLA Rape Treatment Center as well as at Lost Hills Children’s Services doing outreach to elementary, middle, and high school students. I love being a member of this Chaminade community, both as an employee and a parent, and look forward to working with Chaminade students and their families for many years to come.

I feel extraordinarily blessed and fortunate to be a part of the Nade family. I enjoy working with the students and assisting them in all of their academic endeavors and life goals.

I have been a teacher and counselor at Chaminade since 1999. I received my B.A. in Psychology from CSUN then also completed my M.A. in Clinical Psychology. During my graduate work at CSUN, I was a teaching intern (Introductory Psychology) for three years. I have also worked as a therapist in a residential group home with adolescent boys and at a battered women's shelter working with the children living there. I have enjoyed my time at Chaminade and am looking forward to many more great years.

Originally from the Central Valley, I moved to Southern California over ten years ago to attend college and begin my career as a counselor and educator. I have my undergraduate degree in Psychology from California Lutheran University (CLU) and my Masters degree in Counseling (with a Pupil Personnel Services K-12 counseling credential) from the University of San Diego. After working with freshmen and transfer students in CLU’s admissions office for four and a half years, I moved over to the “other side of the desk” to work with college-bound high school students as a college counselor. I enjoy sharing my experiences in both settings with Chaminade students as they start exploring colleges and planning their futures. I feel proud and grateful to do the job I do everyday, especially at a place like Chaminade where the students and parents are so welcoming, and where my colleagues are so friendly and student-centered! I look forward to many more years at Chaminade…guiding my students to find the college that fits them best!

I am thrilled to have returned to Chaminade after graduating with the class of 2001. After graduating from Chaminade, I received a full ride athletic scholarship to play basketball for Santa Clara University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I then spent 5 years working for Casa Pacifica, a non-profit organization that works with at risk youth in Ventura County were I focused on doing behavior modification with youth. During this time I also obtained my Masters Degree from Azusa Pacific University in Educational Counseling. I am excited to come back to my alma mater to work with the students, families and staff here that all call Chaminade home.

Additionally, I have completed a Master of Science in Counseling and Guidance with a PPS Credential from CLU in 2008. In December of 2015 I completed a second Master’s in School Administration from Loyola Marymount University.
