Distinguished Alumni
The ranks of over 9,000 Chaminade graduates include exceptional individuals who are leaders in business and the community, who incorporate Marianist values in their everyday lives. Each winter, in combination with Catholic Schools Week, Chaminade honors its Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna of the Year.
The key criteria are the individual's willingness to lead and the individual's philanthropic record. Through extraordinary commitment to their families, neighbors, schools, churches and other community activities, nominees consistently improve and uplift the quality of life for those around them. They embody dedication to others in an immediately personal way. To be eligible, their time of service must consist of more than fifteen years since leaving Chaminade and the honoree must be able to attend the event.
If you would like to nominate an alumnus/alumna, please contact Peggy Smith, Alumni Relations Manager at 818-444-1750.
The 2013 Distinguished Alumni are Sky LaBrot '99 and Ben LaBrot '94, and amazing sister and brother, founders of "Floating Doctors."
